Project overview
The development proposal at Riverway in Stafford comprises 80 new build high quality residential apartments (26 two-bedroom and 54 one-bedroom units). This scheme is specifically for those aged 55 and over.
Supported by £3.96 million of funding by Homes England, Stafford and Rural homes (SARH) and partner Barnfield Construction are working together with Studio Henderson to transform the area. Expected completion Autumn 2020.
The scheme has been designed for the rented ‘affordable’ housing market with a proportion to be made available for intermediate tenure of shared ownership, and will be managed and maintained long term by a residential social landlord.
